HEY! I’M BRUCE…

For most of my working life, I’ve been in business, sales & leadership training in the automotive industry. I started selling cars in New Zealand at just 17, eventually owned my own businesses and dealerships, and later became a dealer principal here in Australia.

I’ve always been someone who likes to be doing something. Whether that’s business, fitness, hiking, spending time on the water or giving back through marine rescue, sitting still has never really been my thing.

But after decades in an industry where the hours were long, the pressure was constant and your results often came down to those final days of the month, I started asking myself a different question:

What did I actually want the next chapter to look like?

I started for the business opportunity. I stayed for the people, the growth and what became possible.

THE SUCCESS THAT CAME AT A COST: The automotive industry taught me a lot. Sales, finance, management, business ownership - I’d done it all.

And I’d done well.

But there was another side to that success. You were always against the clock. There were targets to hit, brands on your back and seemingly endless demands on your time.

The higher I climbed, the more responsibility I carried - and the more hours I spent away from the people and things that mattered to me.

When I sold my business in 2018, I could have simply gone back to working for someone else.

Instead, I decided it was time to change direction.

LOOKING FOR A DIFFERENT WAY: I’d actually started exploring online business years earlier. Affiliate marketing, dropshipping and various online platforms all caught my attention.

I could see the potential, but I also knew what I was looking for: flexibility, strong income potential and a genuine business model I could get behind.

Eventually I came across the business I run today, partnering with a global Personal Development company.

Initially, I approached it with my business brain. I looked at the numbers, the systems and the opportunity.

But what I discovered along the way was something much bigger.

"There’s always another goal to chase - the difference is choosing one that’s truly yours."

THE BUSINESS I STARTED FOR ONE REASON - AND STAYED FOR ANOTHER: As I went through the Personal Development programs, I started understanding more about myself - why I think the way I do, why I respond the way I do, and how much our past shapes who we become.

I’ve always been a fairly positive, relaxed bloke, but today I’m far more conscious of my thinking and the way I show up.

The business has given me the flexibility and income opportunity I was looking for, but the people, the community and the personal growth are what made it so much more.

I’ve made lifelong friendships, continued doing something I’ve always enjoyed - coaching and helping others succeed - and built a business that gives me room for the rest of my life too.

These days there are still plenty of big goals ahead of me.

And that’s probably the biggest difference.

I’m not looking to slow down. I’m choosing what I want to go after next.
